Great experience with 4Runner

My 4Runner has been great since the day I bought it. Have yet to have any issues with it. Rides great - the drive is smooth, quiet, and you're in control. It's a fun experience. To be honest I probably don't make the most of the space the 4Runner offers - I'm typically driving on my own and rarely hauling large loads around. But I have loved it for the few housing moves I've made over the past couple of years.

Good car

As a Scoutmaster I needed to replace a very old and very worn out Land Rover with something of equivalent capability. After nearly 3000 miles including off road work it has been every bit as capable and more comfortable than its predecessor with better gas mileage and blue tooth capability. The reclining back seats is a plus for the kids and it has adequate cargo room. The roof cross bars allow for Thule use. The only complaint is with the rear carpet in place loads shift instantly and everything comes cascading out of the back every time the gate is opened. I have taken to lowering the rear window first to adjust the load before opening the lift gate.

2012 4runner SR5

Thoroughly pleased with this vehicle. It's a true SUV not a minivan makeover. The vehicles suspension and breaks were built to support the weight of the vehicle. Although it overall ride hight is a little taller than whet we experienced in other similar SUV's and crossovers it does not feel topheavy at all. It corners nicely and am impressed with cornering. The vehicles ride is much smoother than expected, very comfortable. Front driver and passenger seats are nicely bolstered and provide adequet support. Mid row is adjustible which is very nice. Mid and Third row completely lays flat when not in use providing excellent storage. Third row seating had decent legroom but passenger hight must be considered as headroom in the thirdrow is low. I guess my only gripe is we wished leather seats were an option with the SR5. Overall very pleased with the vehicle, vehicle feels solid and quality of components should last for years to come. Would defenitly purchase one again.
