My dream car for the past 6 years has been an avalon. Well i finaly got my dream car. I love everything about the car EXCEPT the gas mileage and the navigation system. I went from a camry that was pusing 32-34 miles to the gallon to 23-25 miles to the gallon. I am sure feeling it in my pocket book :-( The navigation system isnt the best thing in the world. Not user friendly at all but i guess i rather has that in the car than having an old skool tape deck. The drive is awesome....i can go from 0 to 60 in a heartbeat...i love love love entering interstate ramps now because i can quickly get into the fast lane without waiting for all the car to pass. I went from a 4cyl. to a v-6. I got the limited edition that has awesome features. I love that the have memory seats, the signal light on the side mirros, auto dim revier mirrors. rear shade in the back heating and cooling seats. i am not too sure about the trims on other avalons on what is standard or not. but i sure love my car :-)
It is my second Avalon. This is the most comfortable car I have ever been in. Absolutely wonderful for long drives.
Have driven a Camry since 1983. Recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Avalon. This vehicle is designed to provide all the expected luxury level accessories as well as some that were to me unexpected--like reclining rear seats, remote garage door opener and a rear sun shade. The comfort equals that of any full-size American or European made vehicle. I have driven a couple thousand miles since purchase and have found it to be responsive and a pleasure to drive. It also has actually achieved the advertised MPG.
