Lovely car.

You get a great ride, good gas mileage, great room and a nice luxury feel of the wood grain steering wheel, premium stereo and other luxury features and very comfortable roomy seats all for a great price. Just a wonderful car to drive even for very long rides.

2012 Avalon

I considered and almost walked away with a Lexus ES. I am so glad that I did not sign my final papers. Because I am so pleased with my 2012 Avalon that way less expensive but not short on performance, feature, and luxury.

2012 Avalon Limited review

I bought this car as a replacement for an SUV. We already had another SUV, and given gas prices it didn't make sense to have 2, so we decided to sell one SUV and go for a sedan. It was a bit of a mourning process for me, as I loved my SUV! But, the Avalon has truly proven to be a wonderful choice. It is a very slick looking car, having a luxury appearance without the luxury price. The limited is a tri-coat paint scheme, giving it a metallic pearl-whitecolor which is very classy. The interior is well-apportioned, with leather seats and leather and wood trim done very stylishly. There is enough room for 5 to sit comfortably. The Avalon's performance is greater than I expected. Of course, it is not a sports car and doesn't have the same horsepower as some other cars in its class, but the pick-up-and-go, acceleration, and maneuverability of the Avalon is perfect for my needs (I do both city and highway driving). In fact, I have been surprised sometimes at how well those horses under the hood run! Optional accessories, like the moon roof, rear windshield shade, and heated/cooled seats, make the Avalon a class above other cars I test drove. And there were many! I tested out the Ford Taurus - I liked the power, but the 2012 Taurus felt "cheap" compared to the Avalon (very sad to see it, too, since I had a 1995 Taurus and loved it). The Chrysler 300 was also tested. I loved its luxurious feel, and it had a few more bells and whistles than the Avalon, but its reliability scared me a bit. Toyota has a very strong reconrd of reliability. In short, I'd definitely recommend this car to anyone - at least give it a look!
