Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.606 reviews) I love this car. My last three cars were BMW 3 & 5 series. Great cars but once off warranty the BMW's were killing me with repairs. I started renting cars to try several. Once I got to the Avalon I was done. OUTSTANDING! The V6 is suprisingly powerful, yet, conservative HWY driving yields me 31 MPG. Then, I was shocked to find that even my base model handled suprisingly well. Well planted and confident in the turns, stable braking and weight shifts, and even the base comes with heated seats. I would choose a higher level next time for rear camera, larger (better looking) wheels and paddle shifters (like my rental had, fun). I highly recommend the 2013 Toyota Avalon. Interior finish could be higher quality, controls are so-so. Overall great!

Wonderful car for the price

I wanted a sedan with a sporty look, but also with sufficient interior space for 4-5 adults. I was also looking at an Accura TL, but that vehicle is everywhere. The redesigned Avalon looks unique and is not everywhere. It has all the "bells and whistles " - some of which I didn't even know existed. For example, the windshield wiper turns on when there is water on the windshield. Toyota has thought about all the little details. The Avalon gets great gas mileage, has a great repair record, drives smooth, and has incredible acceleration. GREAT VEHICLE!

Purchase Without Regret

Previously owned a 2008 Avalon Limited and greatly enjoyed it. So I decided to do a 2nd Avalon. I really like the new exterior and interior styling. Interior of the 2013 seems just slightly smaller but is still very roomy. Rides and handles beautifully. Many more technology elements to enjoy over the 2008 model. Only problem thus far is the finish panel on the back side of the driver seat "popped off". I read of this happening in other reviews before I purchased. But I took the car to a Toyota dealership and they promptly updated the panel connectors for the back of both front seats to eliminate this from happening again. The update was completed at no cost. Would I recommend this car? Absolutely!
