Just fyi

Great car, good pickup at higher speeds. Only problem...found out yesterday there is a recall on the engine for oil consumption. Good news its covered under warranty...bad news it could take a year to get the parts at the dealer to fix it. So I guess I am buying another car.

I have had this car for 3 years. Except for scheduled maintenance it has not been in the shop for repairs. I had mixed opinions about the tire inflation warning device working properly but it did come on once and I had a nail in one of my tires and a slow leak. Mechanically it is perfect and looks great, too. I have two complaints. The drivers seat is not as comfortable as I'd like, especially on long drives. I don't have a power seat which lessens the available positions. It does have terrible blind spots and you cannot rely on the side view mirrors. You absolutely must turn around or you'll surely have an accident. The suspension is pure sport so don't expect a camry sedan ride. It isn't there. Don't expect cheap replacement tires. They do not exist and the v-rated tires standard at purchase last about 20,000 miles at best. Overall, I recommend this car. Back seat room is better than most once you get back there. It is not a family sedan and is much larger on the road that one would think!
