2009 Toyota CorollaSuzanne Berthelot - Plano, TX08/13/2016
Very dependable, looks newer than its age. Sitting in the passenger's seat of my friend's Ford , I am so glad I chose the Corolla - the 4 door small sedan he had already sounds "ragged out" - it's a year older, but only has 6K more miles than mine. I wish I would have looked a little closer - no cruise control. And the alternator went out only a month after driving it. Other than that, no complaints.
Steady, reliable car

While I would love to have a sportier, fancier car, I can't afford one. My Corolla is practical...looks good, drives smoothly, gets good gas mileage, is the right size for my needs. If I can avoid any crashes, I hope this car will last as long as I need a car...and that's what I was looking for.
Great car, nice features, fun to drive...
2013 Toyota CorollaJim Van Leeuwen - Azle, TX01/14/2016
It's been completely reliable, it's a great car to drive, and our model came equipped with all of the bells and whistles. It's really sporty looking and we love some of the technology included with our particular model. The only thing missing was the top-of-the-line automatic transmission option. It has every other option that I am aware of.
The only drawback was a drop in mpg going from a 2004 Civic to this car. In the Civic, we got 30mpg or more in mostly rural and highway driving, In the Corolla, we just make 28mpg. I was really surprised to see the drop and the car was just given its 60K service at Toyota (which would have corrected any issues related to fuel economy).
