Customer Review Summary for 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser
2010 Toyota FJ CruiserBob Carroll - Hixson, TN01/12/2017
I have read about others having acceleration problems in the past, not what I'm experiencing at all. It's not a drag race car but it is able to what I expect from a car. So far everything has been 5 stars.
FJ Rocks for This Realtor!

This SUV has been amazing. In the beginning I had some minor shaking issue but after a few tries Carmax techs figured it out and I haven't had this issue since. I drive all over Georgia and it's been a luxury mobile office, with a little rugged edge for those homes that take me off road!
Great vehicle, on and off road
2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser - , 07/12/2013
I am a rural appraiser, and will often have to drive 4 hours on the highway to a site that may require some real off-road capability from a vehicle. The FJ shines in both respects. I have the Trail Teams edition, which differs primarily due to the larger tires and Bilstein shocks. Even with the off-road tires, the FJ's highway manners are better than several SUVs that I have owned. Off-road capability is simply outstanding. I've driven through deep water, muddy swamps, and all manner of off-road conditions.
I find the seats and ergonomics to be just fine for long highway trips. Road noise is noticeable, but not obtrusive. It's a heavier vehicle, and I wouldn't call it nimble or quick, but the power is adequate.
The poor rear view is often discussed, but I've never found it to be a problem. If you are a taller driver, the relatively short windshield will force you to duck down to see traffic lights, though. I really like the fact that it has no carpet--it's made to get dirty.
I've put about 3,000 miles on it since purchase, and of the 20 or so vehicles I've owned, I have to say it's one of my favorites if not THE favorite. I highly recommend it.
