Poorly made vehicle. Rough ride, poor gas mileage.
Heated seats are very week, un-usable.
Not a good value.

After debating for about, oh, 4 years I finally made the decision to purchase the Highlander. We went with a hybrid as the mpg was similar to our trade-in. There are a few things to get used to (when the gas system "shuts down" at lights for example) but we love it! This was the best car purchase we have made in a long time! Our dog loves the extra space and our friends love the third row for when we go out--instead of 2 cars we take one!

This car drives like butter and you feel like you're on a couch!! No lie. Because of its hybrid battery you have more horesepower in the car and the battery breaks for you, saving you money on the break pads. We drove it cross country in the winter and it handled so well. We also have a trailer on it for various things we tow and it doesn't skip a beat. I have had no issues with this car. Thanks to Toyota's quality I will never switch to another car.
