Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) I bought my 2008 Toyota Highland Hybrid Limited in September 2011 and so far so good as of December 2011! I do mostly city driving so I haven't gotten the mpg as high as I hoped (average around 21/22), but the ride is so smooth and it has great storage and seating. I have a sunroof that is a little noisy when I drive over 45 mph but if I keep the cover closed it's not too bad. Love the look, love the ride, love being able to fit 7! Great value!

Love this SUV

Great car/SUV, handles well, excellent acceleration on freeway, mountain passes, quiet, comfortable. Expected better gas mileage with the hybrid, but not bad. It's causing me to drive more conservatively as I watch how it's being powered. Would buy again.

didn't know what to expect

I bought my Highlander in January of 2007. I was expecting something close to the MPG estimates of 32 city and 26 hwy. What I am getting is an average of 24 both city and hwy. I have never achieved 30 MPG anywhere. I get excited when I get 26 in the city, where most of my driving occurs. I guess I expected more. It dosen't make much difference how you drive it, slow and cautious or regular with starts and stops like everyone else, I still get 24 MPG. I talked to the dealer and got no satisfaction, just a bunch of double talk about how mileage estatements are figured. I like the car, but I wish they would be more forthright in what you may expect in real time mileage.
