Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.737 reviews) This is a great vehicle that suits our needs well. The 4 cylinder coupled with the 6 speed transmission has been peppy, fairly frugal, roomy, yet capable of towing. We're getting an average of 22-24 which is good, but we have yet to see 27 mpg EPA hwy rating. This one has the tow prep package (rated to 3,500#) - we haven't pulled that, but with a load of 6 passengers + trailer (about 1,000#) it handled a long steep grade into the NC mountains acceptably. Note that the 2nd seat in the middle row is not for a full sized person and when you have the 3rd seat up, there is very little storage - but, 6 adults can be comfortable - 4 with ample storage. It's not a minivan (we have one) but can step up to people hauler duty. Sturdy roof rack.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.737 reviews) I love my new Highlander, though I hate all relatively recent headrests because they force my head forward. This car allows me to sit upright the way I like, which most cars now do not. The car feels very classy, rides beautifully, has a lot of trunk room if you put the third seat down, and accelerates on a dime. However, if you need the third row of seating, there is virtually no trunk space. I have been a bit disappointed that the second row middle seat is so miniature, but the car is perfect for four people, with a decent trunk space. The Highlander is so heavy that it feels incredibly safe. The amount of legroom is very impressive, as is the size of the glovebox. Warning: 1. the size of the manual is hundreds of pages and it takes ages to find what you want, and 2., though I love having a back-up camera, it takes so long for the computer to scroll down the view that I have finished backing up by the time the picture is up. But, if I wait for the view, the size of the area is way out of proportion, and after a month I still have to hop out to see how close I am to the cars back there. Also, I would advise that if you need a third row of seats, you should buy a Sienna and avoid the Highlander, since the third row is appropriate only for young, small-sized people.

Wonderful Auto in General

This is my third Highlander. I bought the first one brand new, and it had over 350,000 miles and still going strong when I sold it. You can't go wrong with a Highlander.
