This is a great car for a Colorado family who need good driving in snow and off road occasionally but mostly to soccer games, etc. We bought the 2013 because visibility was reduced so much with the 2014 redesign, as well as car got wider and wouldn't fit in our garage. Bluetooth, backup camera, third row split seat are all great features, and we love the brand reliability. The new smart key is fun but a REAL pain if you lose one - costs $300 to replace ( and no off brand or substitutes will work, believe me we tried!)
My 07 Toyota Highlander Limited is one of the smoothest and quietest vehicles that I've ever driven. Having worked in the Auto Industry 11 years, the last 7 for America's largest used car dealership, I've driven every vehicle out there that retails for under $50,000 and find the best value in the Toyota Highlander Limited. It's not the fanciest, but is very practical. I average 20 miles per gallon (good for an SUV) and I have the 3rd row, should I need to have a 7 passenger vehicle. Yet, with only 184.6" in length, I can fit it in my garage and can actually open the tail gate in the garage (just barely) with the door closed. Both my wife and I park our vehicles in the garage and have plenty of room between them. If I had waited for the 2008, it wouldn't have fit (3" longer and about 3" wider). In addition, the new vehicles are getting too high tech for me! I don't need all the fancy new Hi-tech features that they come with. Bye-the -way, the visibility is great also. I love my Highlander!
verry solid ride, room for lots of gear, the body style fits me perfect,v 6 engine runs great
