Used 2007 Toyota Highlander Sport in Dulles, VA
Reviews for 2007 Toyota Highlander
Not fully satisfied
Ever since I bought this vehicle, it was serviced by my dealership. At 25K miles, the tires are nearly bald. The dealership noticed it too and said I was over inflating the tires, but they are the only persons who have ever put air in the tires. The engine works OK, but it does get sluggish during some acceleration. You have to pay a lot of money for the next package up with electric seats. The cloth seats seem to get dirty fast with a family of three kids. I am much happier with my five year old Honda mini-van than this vehicle.
2007 Toyota Highlander
Is roomy, 3rd row seat is kind of small. could use more horse power for a V6, Wife really enjoys it more then me. Gas mileage isn't to bad. Enjoy the power driver's seat but wish it also had a power passenger seat. Wish the vehicle could tow more than 3500 lbs, vehicle does have the factory towing package but don't understand why it didn't come with the tow hitch. All other vehicles that I own with the factory towing package came with a tow hitch.
Drives Like a Car
I've had other SUVs and they drove like trucks. The handling and turning radius is remarkable for an SUV. Fit and finish is excellent which is de rigeur for Japanese cars. Styling is sharp. I have a Limited model in white. My daughter in law says it looks like a storm trooper from star wars. It is good value as a tow vehicle. I have a 1500 pound boat and trailer and this vehicle has no difficulty even on steep grades pulling this load. Its handling while towing is also much superior to my previous SUV, less sway and yaw.
