2009 Toyota MatrixAnonymous Matrix Driver - Manassas, Virginia05/22/2010
I have owned my matrix for about 5 years now. I bought it brand new. It gets about 32-35 MPG. I have the 5-speed manual transmission and it's fun to drive. For hauling stuff it's great because I've put 25 bags of 2 cubic foot bags of mulch in the back without problems. Once you fold down the back seats the car is like driving a small truck. It can take all the beatings and weight and keeps running. Great size for small families. I am also 5'10" and it has a lot of room for the driver and passengers. It does have more leg room than a Tahoe

Bought this 2010 Matrix with 36000 miles on it. came from another matrix I'd had for 5 years, so knew what I was getting. no issues with car, seems smooth, and motor is a bit stonger than my last matrix, while still getting 33mpg in mixed driving. Would buy again, and recomend.

2006 Toyota MatrixGamma - NC11/20/2006
Car performed as sold. Impressively in this day and age,
also delivered BETTER than the 30/36 mpg as advertised on the window sticker. On a recent trip from NC to CAL we averaged nearly 38 mpg. Never had the car in the shop as of 17k miles.
Car model could use more power ,but would not recommend going to XRS as to 5mpg worse mileage. Enjoy sporty sedan kind of ride and handling. Would recommend getting a better grade of tires when OEM's wear out.
Seats are very comfortable and would recommend this car to anyone that wants great mileage and sporty looks on a budget price.
