This one rides just as comfortable, handles well, and is far more versatile. It has several technical bells and whistles and allows me to HAUL stuff! I even added a roof rack to make toting stuff around even more versatile! I can't say enough good things about 40MPG either! Great car!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.25 reviews) I wanted a Prius because of its outstanding repair record and amazing gas mileage. I was originally looking for a standard Prius. However, after comparing the Prius and the Prius V side by side, I opted for the larger cargo area. I was concerned that with the Prius V, I would have to give up 4 mpg as it is rated at only, (only!) 44 mpg. However, having the Prius V for three months, my average gas mileage is 48.4! Amazing.

Since I tend to end up carrying a lot of stuff, I had decided that I would get a Prius V when it came time to replace the Camry. I've done so and it works great. The back seats are very flexible for either full sized people, or three dogs, or to carry stuff around. The mileage is very consistently in the low 40s. The cabin is comfortable, but significantly louder than the Camry was. The integration with the iPhone is great and I can listen to my stuff either wired or wirelessly. The pick-up is not zippy. You can floor it and it will get you merged, but it sounds like you are killing it. I generally drive gently, so not a big problem for me.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.25 reviews) The primary reason to buy a Prius is the fuel economy, but there are many other things to like about the v. The passenger cabin is roomy and comfortable, and the cargo space is massive for a car this size. Some people complain about road noise, but I just turn the stereo up. My only complaint is the heating system seems a little weak. The air conditioning was fine last summer, but the heater seems to take a long time to warm the entire cabin.

Very happy with my Prius v

The car size is perfect for our needs. There is a lot of interior room for a small care -- especially in the back seat area. The reclining back seats makes the ride very comfortable for passengers. The mileage it gets is tremendous.

Perfect road trip car

If you're buying a Prius, you know you're sacrificing engine size and power for gas mileage. That said, the Prius V, with the tech package, is a great road trip car. The adaptive cruise control means that you can set the cruise control for 75 mph and not have to disengage/re-engage cruise control if vehicles ahead of you change speed. If you're going cross-country, the car can warn you of bad weather in the area. It handles really well on slick roads because of front-wheel drive. The one downside is that the built-in GPS is of fairly poor quality, but for longer trips, I use a stand-alone Garmin.
