I love our Prius!! The only thing that I don't love is the visibility out of the back window. I would prefer a solid window.
This is a very comfortable car to drive. My husband is over 6 feet tall, no problems with interior height. I've had passengers in the back seat, and no complaints about the leg room either. It looks small from the outside, but very comfortable interior. I find that it handles a little like a Corolla, but with a few upgrades like stability control, traction control, that make it a joy to drive, and it's much smoother. I have no problem making tight u turns into parking spaces at the Mall. For the money paid, I think it has quite a few bells and whistles, such as the tire pressure warning light, blue tooth connectivity. It's a total joy to sit at a dead stop in a traffice jam on the beltway and know that it's o.k. that you only have a few gallons of gas left in the tank, because you're only using the electric motor! Pick up on the highway is also respectable, no problems passing trucks on the highway.
I absolutely love my Prius. With today's gas prices and the Prius' gas mileage performance, the car is going to pay for itself soon! The lowest gas mileage I have gotten so far has been 44 MPG- in the city, with the air conditioner blasting. Highest so far has been 52! I love watching the MPG bar go up and up. Besides the obvious economical and enviornmental perks, it is such a fun car to drive, too. Anyone who loves gadgets will love this car. Anyone who doesn't, will find it very easy to drive. Just press the POWER button to start it! I have let a couple of tall friends drive it who have been surprised at the comfort. To boot, I'm only 5 ft tall and find it especially comfortable as I can adjust the seat up and get great rear and side visual range. All my friends want my car. If you are considering a car that costs less than the Prius, think again. Like I said, the money you will save in gas will make up the difference in your car payment each month.
