Not too shabby

I'm overall pleased with my Prius. It doesn't quite get 50mpg, but does consistently get around 44, probably because I'm on the highway going 75 most the time through hilly terrain. Handles great, the interior is classy, all around solid vehicle, no problems yet...

Honest Unbias Prius Review

I switched from a chevy avalanche to a toyota prius for obvious reasons.. Gas Prices. So without being said I am saving a ton of money on my gas bill a month. That is a given but what else I like about it is the comfort and reliability. The car has exceeded my comfort expectations coming from a big truck. I do not feel cramped in it as I thought I would. It actually feels like you are driving a normal car meaning, I thought it would drive like "green" type car meaning no power to it. It accelerates at a decent rate its not a sports car by any chance. And I rated it low on looks because that its the only thing I can say I'm not fond about. Its not a bad looking car its just plain. I switched from a nice sporty looking truck to this. But honestly the savings in gas and being able to take road trips without worrying about breaking the bank has gave me a new outlook on driving. Also one thing we noticed is a very bad blind spot. It has a crazy blind spot on it you have to get use to. Basically you really have to pay attention when switching lanes on the highway and really look over your shoulder. We both noticed the blind spots a few days after getting the car. While driving in the summer we still get about 42-44mpg on average with the a/c on blast(which is pretty amazing when you think about it). Other than that I normally get about about 46-48 mpg. Its all in how you drive the car. Overall I would recommend it. My wife and I carpool driving about 35-40 miles a day to our jobs and we are able to go a week on a half of tank. Actually one notch above a half a tank and thats in the summer with the A/C blowing constantly. We both switched from gas guzzlers to this so it has really impacted our budget in a good way. I would definitely buy another one given the opportunity.

Toyota Pirus

The Toyota Prius is great for gas mileage, and it has a lot of gadgets and neat gizmos but the seats are too small for adults, they provide no thigh support at all and it has a rather large blind spot to the rear and sides in back. Very dangerous in my opinion.
