Never even thought about getting a Toyota Prius until these ridiculous gas prices had me thinking twice. I saw it on a Carmax website and wanted to see what they were all about. As soon as my family sat in it we knew immediately it was our car. The gas mileage is incredible. We don't even flinch when gas prices go up anymore. The prius has a wonderful ride, sound system, and plenty of room for our family of 4.

My exact words to my wife "Why would you want to buy a skate board with a motor". Well this was my wifes car so she had final say so. We traded in a Lexus RX300, AWD in on this auto, two days before the snow blizzard of 2010. The only time in 4 1/2 years that we needed 4 wheel drive she trades it in two days prior it blizzard. This vehicle is well built, engineered in all aspects, roomy, can definitely keep up with any traffic on road, has 5 star rating, cheaper insurance than my Lexus. Most important of all 51.8 miles per gallon of gas on last trip. Oh yeah clean emissions, less carbon imprint. Did I mention 51.8 miles gallon per gas. I love this car in fact thinking about trading my cadillac in on one. Test drive this car you will be surprised, investigate the resale value, maint., its a Toyota quality product.

After looking for several months, I finally found a Toyota Prius with low mileage and a price that was in my budget. I absolutely love my Prius! I am getting between 41-45 miles average miles per gallon on the open road and in the city. Since I live in the city limits and my job is only a couple of miles away, my Prius often stays under 45 miles per hour, so it is operating off of battery. On the interstate, it gets great gas mileage as well. I can hear the road a little more than in my other car, but I just crank up the tunes on the terrific sound system and cruise on down the road. I used to have to get gasoline once per week. With my Prius, I only have to get gas twice a month and a fill up costs ten to fifteen dollars less than with my other car. Also, with my other car, I had all kinds of problems with my air conditioning. With the Prius, I am cool even at the lowest setting and the other riders are cool as well. I would certainly purchase another Prius when this one wears out. I think that it will be a long time until another purchase is necessary. ? Happy motoring!
