Other times, I love to see avg consumption around 60 mpg which she never disappoints me.

Everyone knows about it's good MPG, but that's really a small part of why this is a great car. It rides and drives well and have NO mechanical issues. Our first Prius had over 200,000 mile when it got slammed into my some nut case. Otherwise we would still be driving it. No Battery or any other issues. Like I said. A great car all around.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) I owned a hand-me-down 2005 Prius (first generation) for years and never had any problems with it. Shame on me for not doing sufficient research into the differences between the first and second generation Prii. It is a COMPLETELY different car. Do EXTENSIVE test drives with this car on several types of surfaces. The visibility in this car is so bad it feels unsafe: major blindspots. Virtually non-existent suspension; hits every bump like it was a pothole. Rattles like crazy, especially on rough road and at high speeds. Cheap plastic interior components. Poor turning radius. Deafening road noise. Worst of all, it gets nowhere near the gas mileage they claim; I have never gotten more than 40/45 miles on the highway, and never broken 30 city.

Going from $65.00 a week in gas in my old car to $18.00 average is a real plus. Love Sirius radio too. Only thing I don't care for is the nav system. Hard to see streets in white lettering against grey background. Not easy to use either.

2011 Toyata Prius III

The Prius is an agile and comfortable car with extraordinary fuel economy. I get around 45-50mg. I drive it daily to and from work. an almost 60 mile commute. The oil changes are a little more expensive than a conventional car. I found them at between $45-$120 per change. I believe that the car could use a bigger fuel tank, though. And, It's a little loud in the cabin. Other, than that. I really love the car.

Best Car I Ever Bought

Aside from the great gas mileage, there are more reasons to buy this car: 1: it's deceivingly roomy! I have long legs and so my seat goes all the way back. There is still plenty of leg room for a grown adult in the back. And all the seats are very comfortable. 2: the back storage area is very large - I can put all of my work tools and cases back there without sacrificing any passenger room. As I said earlier, these cars are deceptively roomy inside. 3: the electronics in this car are top notch. In my opinion, no other car maker does blue tooth systems better than Toyota. My iPhone works flawlessly in this car. Best car I ever bought.

I love my Prius!

First off, gas mileage is awesome. Currently pay about $15-18 to fill the tank, depending on gas prices, and I can drive for 500 miles on one tank. Very smooth ride and not much road noise. I love the backup camera, though be aware that the 2010 backup camera doesn't have guideline markers on it like many do nowadays. Plenty of space in the hatchback area, you can really load it up which was a plus for me. My husband who is 6'1" complains that it's low to the ground and not as comfortable for him, but he drives an SUV so it's really not comparable. Overall a great little car, I had been a loyal Honda owner for almost 10 years, but now I'm happy to be part of the Toyota club!
