Comfortable on long drives. Roomy enough for rear passengers that are average height. There are numerous options available for luxury i.e. heated seats, access to xm radio, available stereo package along with numerous standards.
My son went with me to look at a crossover type car. When I saw the RAV4 I was pretty impressed, but more so after having driven it. I've had it on 3 road trips and it is a handles beautifully. Friends have commented on the comfort of it. I absolutely love the way it looks and the overall comfort. I was expecting 27 mpg on the road, but I'm only getting 24-25 mpg which is a little disappointing. Around town it is 20+ mpg.. Someone told me that it may be due to the 4-wheel drive. I'm still very happy with it.
