Toyota Won Me Over
I have been a Honda girl but I do not like the newer design of the CRV and I decided to get the RAV4. I really love this car. I am not one to really care much about a car, but this one I really like. It handles well and I like the features on the car (i.e storage space particularly under the floor, one touch sunroof, etc.) The only thing is that my husband is tall (6'2") and when he sits in the passenger side and puts the seat back, his knees bump up against the dash. He is comfortable when he drives it.
RAV4 Good downsizing car
After driving a Highlander and a Sienna for many years, I decided to downsize the Highlander. Looked first at the new Highlander but decided it was just a bit too big. But I like the way one sits higher on the road and have more visibility in the SUV...the RAV4 is just about perfect. We chose the limited model which has just about everything one could want, sans a built in GPS but since we already had a GARMIN we didn't really need another. The built in XM radio is a real plus. The back seat is really only comfortable for 2 adults (3 children would fit) but the leg room both front and back is great and the cargo space is huge for a car this size. The gas mileage has been very good and I love the way I can maneuver in and out of tight parking spaces. The car has a lot of pick-up and go so entering highways is a breeze.
great car, nice size, good for road trips, camping, carrying gear, trips to grocery store. decent gas milage ,quiet
