2008 Toyot RAV 4
This is a good compact SUV. I had one 98 model which is still running fine. Toyota's engine performance is very relible. Although it is not one of the best fuel efficient SUV but still 18/24 mpg is good for your money. I wish Toyota make it more green. The back door opens sideways which irritates me. Ineterior is OK if not fabulus. Toyato as usual didnot loaded with many eye opening features. Although lether trim is good. Cargo space is decent, specially when you can fold the rear seat. Overall I would recommnd it to all of my friends.
Great car! Understand, I've fought the SUV craze for years, perfectly happy with my station wagons. But my car was getting older, my husband had researched the Rav4, when he needed a new car (although he ended up buying a Highlander) and I'd heard good things from acquaintances. While I was pondering, a stranger in the campus parking lot saw me studying her Rav4 and she showed me all its advantages and sang its praises. Two weeks later, I had one of my own. The Rav4 has made me a convert. I like the comfortable ride. I'm impressed with the leg room in the back seat area and the tilting back seats in my particular vehicle. The cargo space is adequate for large grocery trips and additional shopping items. It drives well, holds the road and has what I believe is called a small turning radius. The sound system is average and I'd like to have a tape deck, as well as the CD player, but I realize tapes are obsolete to most folks. After six weeks, I have no complaints (knocking wood, of course) and am quite pleased with the car's performance on our mountain roads. I plan a cross country trip this spring and am looking forward to the drive.
