Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.649 reviews) Purchased this Rav4 in September & it is everything I was looking for. It rides nice like a car, but will tow like a truck. The V6 engine has plenty of power, runs very smooth & has that extra punch when quick passing is necessary. We are big fans of Toyota because they make a good reliable vehicle. My husband has had 3 Toyota pickup trucks over the years (all with no huge major repairs). First was a '79 which was drove to 281,000 mi, second a '85 to 256,000 & last a '94 which currently has 168,000 and still running excellent. I was looking for a small SUV and knew Rav4 would be my choice. I am expecting the same reliable performance from this Rav4 as with my husbands trucks. From my point of view, Toyota will probably always be my choice of vehicle (though they are slightly more expensive than similiar models). I would definitely recommend one to other potential buyers.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.649 reviews) After driving a Highlander and a Sienna for many years, I decided to downsize the Highlander. Looked first at the new Highlander but decided it was just a bit too big. But I like the way one sits higher on the road and have more visibility in the SUV...the RAV4 is just about perfect. We chose the limited model which has just about everything one could want, sans a built in GPS but since we already had a GARMIN we didn't really need another. The built in XM radio is a real plus. The back seat is really only comfortable for 2 adults (3 children would fit) but the leg room both front and back is great and the cargo space is huge for a car this size. The gas mileage has been very good and I love the way I can maneuver in and out of tight parking spaces. The car has a lot of pick-up and go so entering highways is a breeze.

RAV4

Good car for the money. I don't like that the model seems to be growing in size every year. I wouldn't call it a small SUV anymore. Reasonably comfortable and spacious. Good amenities in the standard package (I bought it used with very few options). Excellent pickup and ample acceleration from standing start (I have the big V4). Standard sound system is a little weak and a bit tinny. Had I bought it new I would have opted for premium sound. Reasonable handling for an SUV. Decent turn radius. Mileage is ok for its size at about 23+ in the city (a little higher on the highway). I find it a little odd that even though the driver seat sits quite high from the ground and I am pretty tall, I have no clue where the front bumpers are.
