At the time I purchased my 2008 Toyota Sequoia I was driving a 2003 Sequoia. I found the roominess of the Sequoia to be a deciding factor in purchasing another one. Before my purchase I looked at other vehicles that ranged from a Jeep Rubicon to a Toyota 4 Runner. With two tweens, a 2 year old, and a tall husband in tow, I didn't want to sacrifice the extra room the Sequoia offered. I was fortunate enough to run across a 2008 Sequoia Platinum that provided luxury (i.e. heated/cooling seats, navigation system, power everything) and comfort I could only dream about. The only negative thing I could say about the vehicle is the cargo space in the back. My 2003 Sequoia seemed to offer a little more space but the third row seats fold down easy enough to provide more room if needed. Other than that I am very happy with my newly acquired Sequoia and feel spoiled everytime I drive it.
I was hesitant about purchasing such a gas guzzler but it is worth it.... The ride and drive are excellent....well worth the price of the extra gas. Not to mention I no longer have to crawl off the ground to get out of my vehicle the way I did with my car. I had an SUV years ago and replaced it with a car when all of the kids got grown and moved out. I thougt I didn't need something that big since it was just me. I will never own a car again. I am an SUV lady from here on out. If you don't have one, don't walk, run to your nearest dealer and purchase one!!!!! Love, love, love it!!!!!
Very roomy . luxurious. Fast
