We recently purchased a used 2008 Toyota Sequoia. We have been impressed with the increase in space and comfort compared to our previous Tahoe. The third row is great and has plenty of leg room. The engine revs a little high but has a lot of power and tows our boat smoothly.

My husband and I leased an Acura MDX for the last few years, and we decided to buy a used vehicle next. We have a 14-month-old and two big dogs, so we wanted to make a step up with our cabin space. In our search, we considered Tahoes and Sequoias. We ultimately got cold feet on the Tahoe because the ratings are so mixed, but we haven't looked back! The Yota has far surpassed our expectations. It's comfy, roomy and the exterior is stylish! We love that it has an oversized sunroof and we can roll down the tailgate window. Not being able to lift the glass in the Acura, this was a very welcomed feature! We also like the roomy third row seats, which can be removed. While I wish they folded down as they do in the Acura, it's actually worked out well for us!
In all, this is a great family car!!
If you happen to be considering, this SUV comes highly recommended. Hopefully you enjoy yours as much as we do!!
Toyota builds nearly every type of car for every kind of driver, and used models are highly sought after, thanks to their reputation. Whether you’re looking for a used sedan, SUV, pickup truck, minivan, sports car, or fuel-efficient hybrid, there’s almost certainly a Toyota out there for you.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
