The first thing that's great about the 2008 Sequoia is its looks. Compared to other full size SUV out there, the Sequoia looked like it was molded from one block of metal rather than throwing a camper shell on a truck such as the Yukon, Suburbans, Expedition etc...
Second is its spacious interior and compartments. In addition to it, the Seqouia towing capability is exceptional.
Third, the reliability and safety of a Toyota product. You will not regret buying this SUV.
Good SUV at the normal price

Because I've owned several Toyotas, and I have never had any major issues out of them. I currently own a 2002 Toyota Sequoia 4X4 Limited Edition as well. There's a HUGE difference between my two Sequoias. The 2002 Sequoia is reliable but under-powered. Toyota got it right with the 5.7L engine. Now, Toyota needs to improve the interior.
Great Family Car
2006 Toyota SequoiaHappy customer - Prosperity, SC02/10/2010
I love my new Sequoia. It is great-looking, comfortable, and has lots of cool features. The only complaint I have about my new car at all is the gas mileage. I seem to fill it up with gas constantly. However, I am the mom of teenagers and am always on the go so that has a lot to do with it!
I have owned several Toyotas in the past and my husband currently owns a tundra, so we know the reliability that a Toyota has. Even with the recent recalls from Toyota, I feel safe and comfortable taking my family on the road. The Sequoia is a vehicle I have admired for a long time before buying it and I am so glad that I finally broke down and bought what I REALLY wanted. It costs a little more than some of the other SUV's I looked at, but the Toyota dependability made it more worth it!
