The Toyota Sequoia has a smooth quiet ride and believe it or not, is fairly good on gas for such a large vehicle. We owned a 2004 Land Rover Discovery prior to the Toyota and it averaged 12mpg, was horrible on brakes and tires, was unreliable, leaked oil, and very expensive to fix. I hated it more than anything. We love the Toyota and hope it remains in the family for a very long time.
Great, big and reliable car for the money.

Great power, nice style, hails a lot and many at dwcent fuel economy
Toyota builds nearly every type of car for every kind of driver, and used models are highly sought after, thanks to their reputation. Whether you’re looking for a used sedan, SUV, pickup truck, minivan, sports car, or fuel-efficient hybrid, there’s almost certainly a Toyota out there for you.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
This best ranked SUVs article features a variety of SUVs with everything from compact sizes for urban commuting to SUVs with additional cargo space that seats the whole family. You’ll see interior and exterior images of some of our most sought-after SUVs, and explore popular options for budget-conscious and green-conscious shoppers available on the roads today.
