I love my new Sequoia. It is great-looking, comfortable, and has lots of cool features. The only complaint I have about my new car at all is the gas mileage. I seem to fill it up with gas constantly. However, I am the mom of teenagers and am always on the go so that has a lot to do with it! I have owned several Toyotas in the past and my husband currently owns a tundra, so we know the reliability that a Toyota has. Even with the recent recalls from Toyota, I feel safe and comfortable taking my family on the road. The Sequoia is a vehicle I have admired for a long time before buying it and I am so glad that I finally broke down and bought what I REALLY wanted. It costs a little more than some of the other SUV's I looked at, but the Toyota dependability made it more worth it!
We found our Sequoia in Virginia and purchased almost two years ago. What can I say - the car is great in every way. Space, comfort, utility, appointment appearance...... truly an excellent vehicle all around. We are grandparents and from time to time have had two car seats installed and hauled a TON of luggage and kid stuff with us. 10 - 12 hours on the road with this is nothing. AWD and Antilocks make this the safest thing around. Find one and make it yours - you will not be sorry!
A more substantial car than a minivan - sturdier, with just as much room and a smooth ride. We no longer worry about the crumple zone of our vehicle being the passenger compartment where our 4 lovely children ride. It handles like a truck but rides like a car and we have plenty of room for 8 (including 4 car seats) - as opposed to a minivan that "seats" 7 but only has room for 6 (maximum) if you have even 1 car seat in the mix. We are very happy with our purchase.
