Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.667 reviews) My wife and I have been driving almost nothing but Toyotas since the late 1970s. There's good reason for that. After I got nothing but problems from my full-sized 1972 Chevy pickup and nothing but grief from GM I swore that I'd switch to Japanese cars, which I did and have never looked back. We currently have a 1993 SR-5 pickup with over 250K miles and a 1994 Lexus ES-300 with over 225K miles. Both are entirely reliable and well-made vehicles. When we bought the Sienna, we expected the same quality that we've gotten from Toyota in the past and so far, it is living up to our high expectations. The car is solid on the road. It handles well and is quiet. Fuel mileage is about 23 for a mix of highway and city. Once again. quite acceptable. Like our other Toyotas, it abounds with nice little touches such as many convenient little storage places - it has TWO glove compartments! All the amenities work well and it's a pleasure to drive. I really can't think of any substantial way in which the car could be improved.

Reliability & Comfortability

We have a family of five and this vehicle provides a lot of room for travel. If our family continues to expand, we are comfortable staying with this vehicle because of the extra space. There are plenty of cup holders and the rear seat is stow and go which is an extra perk. The bucket seats are also comfortable and good for a long journey. We have not used the roof rack yet, but it does have the ability for adjustments.

Sienna navigation - defective by design

The Toyota Sienna's navigation system has a "safety feature" which is not advertised anywhere, it appears to be the least talked about safety feature of any vehicle on the market. When the vehicle is moving, the navigation and hands free controls are locked out. They don't trust that passenger can safetly change your destination with the vehicle moving. It was a waste of $2500. The voice recognition system is useless, out of 10 times saying "home" it only correctly registered once. It doesn't work for my wife either. Does anyone actually like/want faux wood trim?

Excellent Vehicle

Like: Good acceleration, very comfortable, quiet and Toyota reliability. Dislike: Inside door handles are cheap and "click" when grabbed
