Family Truckster

2012 Toyota Sienna Papa Joe - , 05/13/2013

First, the pros... The mini van is easy to drive. The middle seats pop out and the rear bench folds into the floor. The tail gate easily opens and has sunken room for storage. Overall this is a great value for a mini van that will hold its value, being a Toyota. Plus, as with all Toyota models, the vehicle is easy to work on in a maintenance capacity. There are plenty of cup holders and some nice storage. Then, the cons... The cons are the little things. One of the middle seats is connected to a floor console, and therefore, it all must be removed to remove the seat. The rear windows are not automatic, unlike the middle windows. Unlike the basic model of other Toyota models, there is no outside temperature read on the dashboard. With little ones, it's annoying that they can push button overhead lights on. It would be nice, for little ones in the middle seats to have cup holders at the height of the seat and instead of floor level. Overall, it's great. My review is of the basic model. We have no regrets. It is a great value to accommodate a growing family.

Third Toyota van.

2012 Toyota Sienna Wingtip Wally - , 08/20/2013

This is my third Toyota van all purchased new. We traded in a Sienna XLE 2005 V6 and we are enjoying the changes 2005 vs 20012. We have had the van now for 13 months. The electronic PS is flawless. The accelleration is an improvement and the engine is very quiet. The seats are very comfortable and the ride is smooth. The front windshield configuration is better. Headlights are much birighter. We have taken one long cross-country trip and we were relaxed when we got to our destonation. This time we did not even consider Oddessy. MPG = 19 in town highway 24. Love it and couldn't be happier.

Love at first ride

2012 Toyota Sienna TN MOM - , 07/28/2013

I love this van. It has the most comfortable seats that I have ever had. It has amazing seating arrangement options. With the rear power plug and light, I can keep my 12V cooler in the van all the time for taking lunches and keeping them cool or grocery shopping and not have to rush home with the refrigerated foods, or just keep my crocs and chocolate from melting. I find myself looking for places to go just so I can drive. I volunteer to drive even when it's not my turn. Plenty of room to sleep two adults comfortably. Great for camping.
