We are loyal Sienna fans. The first one we drove was outstanding, so we bought the same model this time. It's everything we expected and more, so most likely this will be our vehicle the next time around as well
I love the comfort riding and driving and the ease of getting in and out of vehicle.
Believe it or not, our company chose the Sienna as it's fleet vehicle due to the fact that we often have company officials visit from HQ and needed a vehicle that could seat more than 4 adults. In three years the van acquired over 260,000 miles with no issues. It has a terrific turning radius, much better than my Chryster PT Cruiser small car! The transmission upshifts and downshifts occur almost imperceptibly. Also nice is the fact that there are five speeds to choose from so you have more control over what gear you are in than any other minivan. This is especially useful if you live in hilly or mountainous terrain. The V6 is smooth and has enough power for on ramps and passing. The car is louder than an Odyssey (our family car) during driving but not too loud. The Sienna has all the cargo space you should ever need. The second row seats do not stow in the floor as in the Dodge/Chrysler minivan but they do folf flat, then flip forward for even more space and of course are removable. The third row seats fold into the floor but do require some strenth. However, they have the edge over the Odyssey third row seats which take more effort to stow. The styling is on par for Toyota recently, which is to say forgettable so the edge goes to the Odyssey but that really means nothing because style points are not a priority when you need those extra seats. If you need a minivan, the Sienna is reliable, efficient and easy to drive and park, with enough storage space for most families.
