I traded in a 2004 version of the same car this summer as the mileage was getting a little high. There were several problems with the 2004 that Toyota addressed in the 2007. It was difficult to see out of the back window when the top is up due to the headrests. In the 2007, Toyota uses headrests that are open in the center. On the 2004, the convertible boot couldnt be secured tightly and in fact, blew off, one time. In the new model, there are tethers to hold the boot in place. The only downside to the car is the ride over rough payment when the top is up. The car shakes and you can see the rear view mirror shake. However, the ride is greatly improved from the 2004 model. The quality of the materials in the car is superior. I thoroughly enjoy the car and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

I Love the Solara convertible. It simply can't be beat on comfort and affordability of a convertible. The leather seats are extremely comfortable, whili breathing in the summer and heating in the winter. They are always comfortable. It is also filled with many optional conveniences such as blue tooth technology, mp 3 adaptor, and 6 disk CD changer. These help to make your ride truely pleasurable. It also performs great, taking turns in stride and having plenty of power to take off with. I personally do not like how the vehicle sits low to the ground. It is uncomfortable for my back, but probably wouldn't bother most. Overall a very good card for the price and plenty of room inside too!
Such a great car I bought a second one!
2007 Toyota SolaraLinda G - Spartanburg, SC04/29/2015
This is the 2nd Solara I have owned. The first was a 2000. Sold it at 266000 miles but it was still going strong. Very little repairs needed the entire time I owned it. I expect this one to be just as great. Love the look, power and reliability. Climate system is great along with sound and comfortable leather seats. Lots of compliments on Blue Streak color!
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
