2008 Toyota SolaraDennyC - Surprise, Arizona01/15/2012
2008 Toyota Solara convertible was in excellent condition with less than 8,000 miles. This car looks and performs just like a new auto. Loaded with most options and has power everything. I do not know why Toyota discontinued this model after 2008 as it is a very well made and attractive car.
Thw Solara has front wheel drive and a 3.3 V-6 engine with good power. It is very quiet and confortable for two passengers.

Solara Convertible is a fun car with a nice ride. I preferred not to have the sporty tires and wheels because of the cost of replacing the tires but they came with the sport version. Most Solara convertibles will come with a 6 cylinder engine, I'm told, because they are 700lbs heavier than a normal Camry or Solara due to added steel to add rigidity lost by the loss of a hard top. I wish it had a USB port. I wish it had an A/C plug like my Avalon. I wish the windows would start to go down via the remote, as I approach the car. I get about 21ish mpg around town driving conservatively.

I love the solara it is the best bang for your buck ,looks good has a lot of power and plenty of room for my family of 4. I hope they never stop making this model.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
