Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.632 reviews) Excellent car, except for initial takeoff acceleration. I would consider this car outstanding were it not for the initial slooowww takeoff acceleration. 2004 Corolla CE had much better initial takeoff acceleration. All other driving acceleration speeds are nice (for an economy car). BTW, yes, I tried taking off faster by switching off the Eco mode. It was better but still very slow start.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.632 reviews) Depending on what you are looking for, this car delivers. Space to take 5 adults w/o crowding, roomy storage/trunk covered, seats fold down to haul large items, easy clean interior but not cheap looking as some have said. The v-6 is the best choice as the numbers show, with only 1 mpg difference. But the power difference isn't even close! 0 to 60 in 6 second times. Climbs hills with ease. Holds value well. Easy to enter or exit. On a recent trip to Cambria my mileage was 26 overall. Passing cars at freeway speeds was exhilarating and quick.

Reviews for Toyota

Overall Rating

4.6 out of 5(6,177 reviews)

Great car with no deal breakers.

First of all the reliability rating is fantastic. Even the battery lasts for the life of the car per consumer reports. Great gas mileage. Surprisingly roomy inside for a small car. Maneuverability is great which makes it easy to park with a tight turning radius. I love the way the cockpit is arranged. Very comfortable to drive. Quiet inside for a small car without a high end brand name. Adequate trunk space for a small car as well.
