55,000 miles. Drives like new. My 2003 Tacoma. First went to 195,000 miles that only needed an 02 sensor replaced. I'm hoping for the same. lots more power with this generation. Better gas mileage too. More room everywhere. Check the rims for "blistering". this is the only issue with Toyotas around this year. Tacoma's are the best.
SO I WAS FRESH BACK FROM THE COUNTRY OF AFGHANISTAN, SERVING MY COUNTRY. I CAME BACK TO THE UNITED STATES WITH MY DEPLOYMENT MONEY, AND I WAS TIRED OF GETTING RIDES FROM MY BUDDIES, SO I DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO BUY A VEHICLE. I KNEW EVER SINCE I WAS A KID THAT I WANTED A TRUCK, NOT JUST ANY TRUCK, BUT A TOYOTA TACOMA. I KNEW THEY WERE BUILT TOUGH, HAD AN AMAZING AND LONG LASTING ENGINE, AND THAT IT COULD GET THE JOB DONE. I WENT BACK HOME AND THATS THE FIRST THING I BOUGHT! I DROVE OFF THE LOT A FEW HOURS LATER WITH MY GLEAMING GUN-METAL GREY TOYOTA TACOMA. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE SATISFIED WITH A VEHICLE. I GOT THE SINGLE CAB, WHICH PROVIDES ENOUGH FOR 3 PEOPLE, BUT TWO PEOPLE VERY COMFORTABLY. ITS GOT SOME GREAT ACCELLERATION, WITHOUT THE WORRY OF GAS PROBLEMS FROM IT ONLY BEING A FOUR-BANGER ( IN LINE 4 CYLINDER ENGINE, INSTEAD OF A V6, V8, OR V12). I KNEW I WOULD HAVE THIS TRUCK FOR A LONG TIME. THE NEXT WEEK I DROVE ACCROSS COUNTRY FROM NEW MEXICO TO CALIFORNIA, WITH GREAT TUNES FROM THE NICE STOCK STEREO, AND THE VERY SMOOTH RIDE OF MY TRUCK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY TRUCK LOVER. IT WILL LAST YOU A VERY VERY LONG TIME, AND TOYOTA NEVER COMPROMISES ANYTHING. I LOVE MY NEW TRUCK.
Excellent fit and finish, great acceleration and handling, roomy and comfortable, seat a little to low, drivetrain a little noisy.
