I owned a tacoma before and I loved it.
The 2013 model I purchased... I thought was expensive but it's a toyota - so I thought I would be getting a high quality product that will last for years longer than the competition.
My initial test drive was fine - so I bought it.
It's been over a month now and I took it on two 2+ hour trips so far and noticed the following:
- my butt is sore after long trips... seems like the padding on the seat isn't as "padded" as my older tacoma
- the recirculate button seemingly randomly goes off... sometimes I press it and it will stay on for a hour... sometimes on the way to work (one hour) I have to turn it on over and over and over as it just keeps turnning off by itself
- the intermitent wiper setting appears to be backwards... turn the dial towards the graphic that is smaller to lengthen the time between wipes and toward teh graphic that is bigger to shorten the time between wipes
- the plastic casing around the environment controls is loose... maybe this has something to do with the recirculate button issue I'm experiencing
Overall... I'm a bit disappointed

Great Tacoma!
When I purchased the 2013 Tacoma Prerunner, I was pleasantly surprised by the condition and quality of the vehicle. I had tried a couple of other truck models, but the Tacoma was exactly what I needed. Seating is as comfortable as driving a luxury sedan. Handling is as easy as driving a car, too. I would heartily recommend Toyota's Tacoma Prerunner to anyone looking for a slightly smaller truck that has all the qualities of a much larger vehicle.
Five star *****
For me this is the best truck on the road for your money Comfort, driving, hauling, pulling you boat, trailor and just everyday use.
