Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (3.333 reviews) This is a great mid-sized truck and the new design started in 2005 has alot of room.I have the V-6 engine and get 20 mpg in everyday suburb driving and on a highway trip I can get 22 mpg.I have the 4 door extended cab with is great but if you have anyone over 6 years old and expect to take them along with you look for the crew cab.I have the pre-runner option with the TRD off-road package and this makes the truck feels like it is glued to the road and makes driving very enjoyable. The ride height is great but because this is not a full size driving around parking lots and our suburan jungle is very easy. The only drawback is that you can't get a full power seat and a multi-disc cd charger is only on a very few of these models.Otherwise all the typical goodies remote entry, power doors and windows, and nice air system can be had.If you think you want a big full size truck try this first and then drive a full size and you will see this is a much better everyday truck.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) If there was a 'maybe' response, I'd choose it. The ride is tolerable. The TRD Off-Road package (with 4WD) is very capable off-road. Handling is not bad for a truck with an off-road oriented suspension and off-road tires. It is a maneuverable package and fits fairly well in tight spots. Fuel economy- I'm unable to hit the combined EPA rating. My highway mileage averages about 18-19 MPG driving slow. I don't tow. I usually have about 50 lbs worth of gear in the bed. Power is not bad. However, it feels like it is all in the higher rev range. In the 25k miles I've had it, one of the rear brakes leaked. The transfer case leaked. The power steering rack had to be replaced. One of the rear back-up sensors failed and had to be replaced.

Awesome mid-sized truck!

Great 4x4 system, nice clean simple interior, well thought out vehicle. If you do your own oil changes you'll be impressed with the oil drain hole that surrounds the filter. The oil filter is almost vertical, accessed from the top of the motor, there is a lip around where the filter seats, so that when you remove the filter the drips/flows into an outlet that you can place a catch can under. Beats an under the motor, oil going every where, when you unscrew the filter anytime.
