2015 Toyota TacomaJeffrey Thomas - Frederick, MD03/27/2016
The 2015 Tacoma is the final model year for the proven 4.0l Toyota Tacoma. Because there is no replacement for displacement I decided to purchase the 4.0l. Don't take my word shop for one in the free market and you might wind up paying more for a used one than a new one.

Purchased my Tacoma in Jan. 09. Silver/graphite interior,4cil/automatic,reg cab, just over 7000 miles. I have had only 2 trucks in the last 28 years, a Toyota and a Nissan. I had been happy with the dependability of both. The reg cab Toyota is classified as a basic work truck. It is well suited for back and forth and light hauling. The heat and A/C are good. Visibility is very good, I added a stick on spot mirror on the left. Instrumentation is good -like the red aviation display color. Find it odd that panel stays on even in daylight? No intermittent wipers on this model-has not been a problem but I find it a step backward, should be standard. Sound system, 4 speakers, single CD player fine for average person. If you have a really big foot ,you might find the gas and brake pedal a little close together if you were wearing boots. I like the composite rear bed with track and tie down accesories. I bought a cargo net $39. to stretch across the back of bed to keep items from sliding. I like the interior, the truck seems solid with good fit. The engine, 169HP will get up to highway speed no problem. I'm still used to a 5 speed and so on occasion let my speed drop and find the truck bog and have to step on the gas to get it going or shift up. I added pin stripping $25. and a stainless tail pipe deco to personalize this truck. For the money, and my needs, I feel I made a good purchase.
