TRD Off-Road (4 wheel drive) Tacoma. I needed a solid 4WD performer for work on the beach. Very happy with this one. The rear view camera is very helpful. Be aware, if you need to do towing or heavy hauling--capacity is quite limited. But the advantage of this small truck size is that it's almost as easy to drive as a Camry.
rides & runs great
It's a great vehicle, I got a great price for the mileage!!!

Taller drivers may feel cramped in early models, so more recent editions of the Toyota Tacoma may be more supportive. This vehicle can also handle off-roading better than most vehicles. The four-cylinder models will lose their value quickly, so if power is not an issue, then the lack of significant changes ensures that these models will still work for the intended use. Though anyone seeking the lift in power will have to pay for it, the lack of significant changes in transmission or most standard features will ensure that the Tacoma stands as one affordable truck in any of its years.
Toyota Tacomas come equipped with a composite bedliner, a bed utility rail system, and standard steering. The V6 engine combined with 6-speed automatic transmission ensures enough horsepower to cap out at 25 mpg on the highway. The Tacoma additionally carries five people while some other trucks can only support two.
