LOVE my truck! Handles like a dream, power to spare, tough little go-getter! I didn't want or need the V8 Tundra, or the extra expense that went with it, but this truck has everything I need -- all I need to add now are my running boards! :) I love that it came with the bedliner, and use it constantly! I added a Tonneau cover --- GREAT move! I got one with lines to match the sporty look on the hood. Easy to remove for the quads to be loaded (though it absolutely takes 2 to do that. Still I LOVE the ability to store stuff in the bed and lock it up. The ONLY thing I DON'T like is on the radio --- the LCD readout is okay at night when it lights up, but impossible to read during the day with sunglasses on! I have to move my glasses out of the way to see what station etc is on. I must have sunglasses on when outside, and the readout on the radio just becomes invisible with them on. Love having the radio controls for staion, sound, track selection, etc on the steering wheel! Love the TRD Sport package, and the plug in in the bed has come in handy. LOTS of compliments on my RED Sporty. And yes, I have had to help people move since I got it ... but I simply call that payback for when I had to have their help previously, and did it happily :) SUGGESTION!!! : PLEASE PLEASE purchase some blind spot mirrors to add to your outside mirrors to aid in seeing behind you. I got into a fender-bender with someone else who had the same blind spot I did when backing out of a parking spot. (ended up being a 50/50 split on insurance, since we were both doing the same thing at the same time, and had similar sized vehicles with the same blind spots --- so we didn't come out of pocket) Yea! Funny thing is, we each made a new friend from this -- go figure!! LOL! We both put these mirrors on our vehicles one they were repaired. Since putting on the spot mirrors, I can see cars behind and beside me long before they are visible in the standard mirrors. I believe these blind spot mirrors are a MUST HAVE! Especially with smaller cars that are in the lanes next to you but back by the back of the truck ...otherwise they are invisible in your mirrors, and you won't see them by looking back either --- the little mirrors caught them though --- so I didn't have to run over and flatten them! Now, the only question that remains is this: Are there "invisible" magnets on the back end of this vehicle??? Or do the other drivers just want to get closer to me??? I have had a serious problem with people riding my butt, and two of them have actually run into the back!!! One person did serious damage to their car, but it didn't hurt or so much as scratch mine. So sad for him! hope he learned his lesson! Okay ... off to check out those running boards...............
Terriffic truck, comfortable, solid, tows well, plenty of power!!
The double cab handles all my indoor storage or the grandbaby carrier! Easy to load and unload from rear. Great excelaration on highway...smooth ride. Seat fits well but is a bit hard for long trips. Wish the radio had rear speakers also. Overall...the best choice for me! Definitely recommended to my lady artist friends!
