As a former owner of the 04 Titan and daily driver of the 09 Ford F-150 at work I can honestly say this one tops them all.Has the kahonese of the Titan but the refinement and civility of a Lexus.This thing will put a smile on your face a mile wide,especially at the light as other truck drivers can't look you in the eye.Turn on the ignition and your testosterone level rises.FEEL THE POWER !!!Sorry ,but it is what it is !Enjoy .
Die-hard Chevy and Ford fan all of my life. Multiple pickups in my 46 years of life and believed nothing compared to an American made pick-up. Man was I wrong! Toyota blows the doors off anything Chevy, Ford, Dodge (to miss or avoid) and Nissan have to offer. Test drive it, you'll be convinced. Ford has a nicer interior, Dodge has a nicer nose, Chevy has the ride comfort but not by much. The 5.7 in the Toyota in amazing. Matched to a 6 speed auto trans and huge 4.10 gears or 4.30, with factory tow package, nothing out pulls it, nothing out hauls it, out brakes it and nothing out handles it. It does all things well, really. I've been an auto tech over 26 years, I am fully convinced this truck wins hands down. Again, the others are no slouches either but, for all-around value and dependability, you can't beat Toyota on their Tundra. For whatever it's worth... Thanks for reading.
I love this truck! The iForce V8 motor delivers amazing power and for the horsepower does it with gas efficiency greater than many other big vehicles. I get about 17 miles to the gallon highway and 15 around town. Comfort wise the seats aren't the greatest, but they aren't the worst either... one thing that I don't like is the wear that happens to the side of the seat as a result of how you have to slide down to get out of the truck. The MaxCab offers an exceptional amount of space in the back seat -our son has plenty of room on long trips to spread out and relax. The overall ride of the truck is great! It handles well and isn't a bounce you around hard ride like many. This truck is beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality truck as their next vehicle.
