I have had my car for almost 2 years in March, I love it when it is just me. Everyone else that rides with me complains that the seats arent comfortable and the space is too small in the backseat. I rode in the backseat and YES it is small and you can BARELY fit 3 people back there in comfort. But I love the appearance they way the radio and the whole middle console is made. Do wish that the cup holders were a lil different and wish there were bigger compartments to hold things. But all in all with MPG! It is wonderful!!! But I think If I had to re-choose I would take the new 2009 Corolla for the space.
Lovin' my Toyota Yaris!
2007 Toyota YarisSeansGirl0604 - Kenosha, WI09/03/2007
I've had my Toyota Yaris 2 door hatchback for exactly 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier. I'm averaging 35 mpg with all city driving. The performance is better than I expected for 1.5 liter and it feels SO roomy inside despite it's small outward appearance. The center console is more convenient than I thought it would be. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and believe I got a great car for the money I'm spending.
Great highway car
2007 Toyota YarisChaniece - Tucson, AZ02/19/2015
I would recommend this car to anyone who drives long distances on a regular basis. The Yaris gets great gas mileage on the highway. With one tank of gas I can drive around 400 miles. However, in the city the gas mileage is not so great. I was only able to get a little over 300 miles before I had to refill. I have a manual transmission and it is very smooth when shifting. I find that first gear is difficult. Once you are up to about 10/mph you have to switch to 2nd gear which is frustrating when you are going over several speed bumps. And slow speeds, such as school zones, are difficult to stay at. But that could be my driving skills, I don't know but I didn't have that issue with my last stick shift. Overall, I love this car.
