Customer Review Summary for 2006 Volkswagen Beetle
she smells like crayons
2006 Volkswagen Beetlecrayola - Chicago10/30/2011
Love my bug-but there are a few "bugs" to deal with. She hesitates on acceleration, so you have to be real smooth with applying the gas. She also smells like melted crayons and some research into trying to rid the smell found that many Beetles, Jetta, Things, etc, have this problem. There are a couple possible reasons, the most believable is that VW uses a wax-like lubricant in the framework and when it warms up, the result is a melted crayon smell. It can be overwhelming at times. BUT, all the other good things about a convertible outweigh this-like the ease of handling, smooth comfortable ride, fresh air and sun in your face, cool look, roominess and awesome gas mileage!
I love my moms bettle its a great car shes had it just over a year now its really good car its compterable and supriseingly the cargo space holds alot the back seat has ok leg room and it drives smoothly and gets good milage. I would recomend this car for you.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
