Customer Review Summary for 2010 Volkswagen Beetle
German great cars
2010 Volkswagen BeetleAl, The trader - , 08/10/2013
The best car I ever drove at Carmax was a BMW, they are amazing but out of my budget. This is the forth Beetle, the first three were yellow My first one was when I was in the Army, Stationed at Fort Sill OKLA from 1962-1963. It had a sun roof, stick shift, no gas gage, when it went out there was a lever near your left foot and that gave u two more gallons. The trunk was in front and the engine in back but fun to drive. I paid 11 cent a gallon during a gas strick I bought this car at
The Torrance carmax and it drives great. The gas miles is 18 mpg, not 20 in town I havent tried it out on the road yet but Im sure it will get around thirty. I will probably get another car in a year or two and someone will have fun driving it.

Ok, I bought the car two months ago, but refused the flower vase. I've owned a 02 Z3, a Solstice GXP and the bug. It's not a sports car and nobody said it was. After five back surgeries I can tell you the Beetle is the easiest to get in and out of. Mine was a lease return with 21,000 miles on it. This car is fun to drive and has plenty of pep. I keep reading it gets 20mpg in the city. I drive it a little hard and have been getting 24.? mpg in town everytime I fill up. Highway has averaged 28.4 mpg-with the air on in the thin air in Colorado. It's not a luxury car but it is value for the money mostly. Report say it holds its value. Judging by the ads and the fact the 2010 year model is the last convertible on the old frame-I think it's a good buy.
Did I mention it was fun to drive?
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE VOLKSWAGEN BEETLES....I PURCHASED MY FIRST FROM CARMAX BACK IN 2009...LOVED IT,BUT ENDED UP SELLING IT..THIS MADE ME VERY UNHAPPY....I WENT ON LINE WITH CARMAX AND KEPT CHECKING THE BEETLES...SAW THE BABY BLUE FINAL EDITION AND IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT...IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED...LOW MILEAGE, VERY CLEAN ( STILL SMELLED NEW) I WILL NEVER LET THIS ONE GET AWAY FROM ME!
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
