Love my little Bug, the gas mileage is great. The convertible top is just awesome, just a push of a button and it is down.
I had a Jeep soft top before and taking the top down was a chore and of course "no trunk."
So far, I have no complaints with my Bug.
Second vehicle and probably the last. Bought a Volvo first, then the Beatle. While the concept is great, the work force is even better! The missing link to all this is the cars themselves. Both turned out to be complete lemons. Great idea, great people, poor product.
Most cars in its price are shaped for performance in a wind tunnel and not pretty to look at. It has style and character. Creature comforts are well accounted for in the Fender and GLE models especially. The 2.0 turbo is surprisingly quick and efficient (28-30 hwy). Stock tires are just ok, but easily upgraded to sticky more quiet rubber (Potenza RE 760's do well in FL)
