We bought a 2007 Eos that uses 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. VW claims this is normal but never mentioned this until after we brought it to the dealer to find out where all the oil was going.
If you buy this car, make sure you have 2 or 3 bottles of synthetic oil meeting VW specs in your trunk. You will use it.
