The VW EOS is a hardtop convertible that also sports a moonroof. These two features provide a great deal of versatility and add a ton of driving pleasure. Put the hardtop up or down in public and you are sure to draw attention. I get lots of positive comments about my EOS. This is German engineering at a much more affordable price than a BMW, and the car (at least my 2.0L turbo) is quick and responsive. Lots of extras as well, heated leather seats, cruise control, etc. If you like to drive a manual transmission car like I do, that is available as well as a smooth shifting 6 speed. If driving this car doesn't make you smile, please seek professional help!
I LOVE this car! It is so much fun to watch it "transform" from a hard-top convertible to a sweet sassy little top-down hot rod! We are having a blast driving around in it! I love the steering wheel buttons for the computer menu, radio controls, etc. The included wind-deflector is awesome as is the pop-up wind-deflector over the windshield! I have always loved the stability, safety and economy of VW and this is the perfect combination of fun and practicality!
I love this car! I purchased it as a second vehicle. I also have a mini van. I wanted something that was fun to dive and had some style but not a real fancy car. I also wanted something that you don't see 15 others just like it in the Target parking lot. THIS is the right car for me. It is zippy and fun to drive. I love putting the top down (which is very easy) but even more, I love having the possibility of putting the top down. The gas mileage isn't great and it does take premium - but it is better than the mini van. The back seat is small, but I rarely have passengers in the back. I would recommend the car to anyone who is single, no children and want some style without a big investment.
