Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) I bought a 2009 Jetta from Carmax 4 days ago, and I'm completely happy with the purchase. The car is stylish, convenient with satellite radio, sunroof, and other perks that I didn't even expect -- and it drives beautifully. Most importantly, I feel very safe. I am happy with the price I paid and think I got a great deal. It looks and drive like it was more expensive than it was. Took the car to my longtime trusted mechanic this morning, and he said the car looks super clean underneath. He didn't find any problems at all. I'm also happy with the reasonably small size of the sedan for parking, and the spacious comfy seating once you get in. Best of both worlds. Getting ready to drive my new baby to the beach, and I can't wait!

Great car

So many good things to say about this car. Starting with aesthetics: the interior if the car is very well laid out. I have the Jetta SportWagen. The front seats are heated, the back seats fold flat, and in the winter, the design of the heating/cooling system very effective in very little time. The vehicle computer is easily configured to your preferences and provides accurate trip and efficiency information. The radio, while the base model, sounds great and packs a punch. The included auxiliary input makes playing music through my iPod seamless. As for the exterior, it is the same design as the 2005.5-2009 model Jetta sedans, which would make parts swapping hassle free. The base model has a lowline vehicle computer, which only means it doesn't have factory fog lights. The headlights are very bright and crisp. The same can be said for the reverse lights: very bright and effective. There is a bit of a blind spot with the front seat head rests, but those can be adjusted to avoid that. The engine is quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful ride, even at highway speeds. There's a feature called Tip-Tronic, where you can manually shift to a different gear. This is great when in slippery conditions, or where braking action is poor. Also, there's a Sport mode on the gear selector lever. This is most beneficial in situations where quick acceleration is required. The included side rails along the roof make attaching a roof rack very simple. It just clips on and tightens. The antenna is quite long, and centered on the end of the roof, so this will need to be taken into co side ration when attaching roof accessories. Performance: it accelerates quickly, brakes easily and softly, and stays quiet enough to enjoy your favorite song from your MP3 player. Windows are quickly defogged and the air conditioner blows cold air fast. Bottom line: it's a great car that's great on mileage and is a great value. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable gas-sipping vehicle.

Great Car - Great Value

This is my second Jetta TDI. Since my first one (2001 model) VW has increased the horsepower and eliminated the annoyances. This car is flat-out great. People who ride with me are surprised to learn it's a diesel - it is quiet, very fast, and rides/handles like a sports car. Great fuel economy too - high 30's in town, mid 40's on the highway. Nice information system also - gives lots of valuable information. The only drawback so far has been that the on-board bluetooth phone system picks up too much background noise (not due to diesel - the car is QUIET), but the local VW dealer thinks he may have a fix for it. That's one more pleasant surprise - VW's attention to minor warranty issues has been great. The local VW dealer has been available and open to questions, and has been responsive, and helpful, even though I bought the car elsewhere. What more could I ask??

OMG! All I have to say is that this was the easiest process ever!! Found the perfect car online, called and got approved for the loan, got there paid my down payment and walked out with an amazing car all in about 30-45 minutes! & not to mention I got a great deal on almost new car (other than the year, the car is practically almost new)!!! LOVE IT!
