Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) I've only owned it for a month and a half but I've enjoyed every day. The car is solid. It rides nice and is very quiet. The only time anyone would know it is a diesel engine is at idle when the engine is cold. I'm getting every bit of the 40+ mpg advertised. I've owned it a very short time but the car has exceeded my expectations so far.

At 95,000 miles, the timing belt broke after in shop for warning lights-check engine. No WarRANTY AND $4,500.00 TO FIX. At 103,000 miles, the alternator went out. Car designed only to last 80,000 to 90,000 miles before having problems with maintenance items. Extended warranty is no good if the repair is not covered. always serviced by VW...

Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) So many good things to say about this car. Starting with aesthetics: the interior if the car is very well laid out. I have the Jetta SportWagen. The front seats are heated, the back seats fold flat, and in the winter, the design of the heating/cooling system very effective in very little time. The vehicle computer is easily configured to your preferences and provides accurate trip and efficiency information. The radio, while the base model, sounds great and packs a punch. The included auxiliary input makes playing music through my iPod seamless. As for the exterior, it is the same design as the 2005.5-2009 model Jetta sedans, which would make parts swapping hassle free. The base model has a lowline vehicle computer, which only means it doesn't have factory fog lights. The headlights are very bright and crisp. The same can be said for the reverse lights: very bright and effective. There is a bit of a blind spot with the front seat head rests, but those can be adjusted to avoid that. The engine is quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful ride, even at highway speeds. There's a feature called Tip-Tronic, where you can manually shift to a different gear. This is great when in slippery conditions, or where braking action is poor. Also, there's a Sport mode on the gear selector lever. This is most beneficial in situations where quick acceleration is required. The included side rails along the roof make attaching a roof rack very simple. It just clips on and tightens. The antenna is quite long, and centered on the end of the roof, so this will need to be taken into co side ration when attaching roof accessories. Performance: it accelerates quickly, brakes easily and softly, and stays quiet enough to enjoy your favorite song from your MP3 player. Windows are quickly defogged and the air conditioner blows cold air fast. Bottom line: it's a great car that's great on mileage and is a great value. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable gas-sipping vehicle.

Love the Diesel Jetta
