I would buy and I am planning on buying another Jetta. Yesterday a woman flew through an intersection at about 60mph and t-boned me in my drivers side. I walked away with no serious injuries. I have some bruised ribs, neck, shoulders, and back and a nasty burn on my neck from the seat belt, but considering what could have been.... my doors were bent in touching the seats. If my Jetta hadn't been so well built I might have been hurt worse. All of the side air bags saved my head. Even as hard as I was hit none of the glass broke. Before the accident I loved the Jetta she handled great and had a smooth ride. Repairs are a little pricey but its worth it. On top of her being well made she also was awesome looking I loved all the chrome! The inside lights are set to look like a cockpit of an airplane very cool! If your thinking of buying a VW do it.
Great car for the money

The Volkswagon Jetta is a great car for the money. It is also a very safe car for new drivers as it has front, side and curtin airbags to protect in a accident. I recommend this car for anyone, especially as a first car.

If you like a car that feels the road but is solid, comfortable and stylish, then a VW might be for you. This is a great car and my second Jetta. The car has everything you might expect from German engineered sedan, except the high price. I highly recommend it!
