Reviews for 2010 Volkswagen Jetta
Another Euro Car
We love our 2010 Jetta. This is our 4th European made vehicle and once again we are more than happy. After owning a BMW and a Benz we were little worry about the performance and quality of VW, but instead we are impressed with another great German engineering but for much less money. This car drives, handles and feels great. It has plenty interior and head room space even for my husband who is 6'3" with long legs, he is still comfortable in this compact sedan. Back seat has plenty space for a taller/bigger person too. Instruments are clear, simple and well placed. Gears change quick and smooth, you'll find yourself leaving stop light before everyone else. Trunk is big and folding back seat will give you more space than expected to carry even those bigger items. Audio system is better quality than expected too. Gas millage is exactly as promised. The only negative we could think of would be restricted view, it is little hard to check your blind spots, not sure if it is size of the windows or just the design because it is the same for both of us.
I LOVE MY JETTA!!!
great gas mileage, great travelling vehicle, comfortable, roomy and fantastic running. I have not one bad thing to say about my car. I just WISH I would have put the extended car max warranty on it. Highly suggest YOU DO..I don't trust ANYONE to work on it.
Good car but...
This car is good but it leaves much to be desired. First of all, it only gets around 25 miles per gallon. Which isn't very good for a 2010 sedan. The starter also went bad very early on. I had it replaced and my new starter is now going bad. My window motor for the driver side window is also bad. The final problem I found was that you have to take all Volkswagens to a Volkswagen dealership to have the computer reset when you get an oil change, which is very inconvenient. All of these flaws aside, once you get the car started, it handles well and accelerates very quickly, which is perfect for merging into traffic. It takes corners like it's on rails, which is a great thing for those of you who aren't familiar with that phrase. The shiftable automatic transmission is also a nice feature that affords you more power when you need it. Over all it's a great car that's fun to drive but it has it's flaws like all cars; this car's flaws are just a lot more apparent.
